    Dear Wang Wei,

Long time no see. I guess you are busily preparing for the National Entrance Tests for Masters‘ programs. But remember, my dear friend, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Why don’t you stop and relax yourself a little, like seeing a movie? I saw a movie “If you are the one” recently, casting Ge You, Shu Qi and directed by Feng Xiao-gang. It‘s fantastic and certainly worth your time. Famous director, shining stars, humorous language and beautiful sceneries will surely make you forget all those tedious and exhausting preparations for the exams. Besides, the ideas and morals as conveyed by the movie are exceptional and thought-provoking. I strongly recommend the movie to you.

Well, let me know how you are getting on with your preparation and don‘t hesitate to ask me if I can be of any help to you.

    Best wishes.

    Yours,

    Li Ming

    范文:

What is depicted in this picture seems familiar to everyone, but shocking. Two tourists on a small boat are obviously enjoying their holiday, yet regrettably, they are throwing their picnicking leftovers into the water carelessly. Actually, the water is already littered by flowing rubbish like plastic bottles, tins, fish bones, food wrappings, etc. One may imagine the mess left behind by all those tourists.

Clearly, the drawer of this picture intends to draw our attention to this undesirable phenomenon in our society: littering and destruction to the tourist attractions. Indeed, in almost all natural resorts or historical sites, one may find food leftovers, plastic containers and other trash on the grass, in the water, on the mountain paths and in the historical buildings. Such littering will make other tourists feel sick, and cumulatively, it will damage the natural beauty, the historical buildings and ultimately the environment.

It is really the high time to take effective measures to reverse the trend. Laws and regulations should be set up to protect the tourist attractions. And more importantly, the tourists must be educated to enhance their sense of protection of tourist attractions and behave themselves properly. Only in this way can we hope to keep all our tourist attractions and our environment in perfect condition.
